Returning for the 2022/2023 Season, we are hosting what we are calling a Mock Race & Training Day. This allows those that are new to Midwest Masters come out and learn how our race events function, while also getting coaching, video and timed runs! We will be running this event very similar to an actual race event, but will also be adding drills and lots of training time as well. We will also discuss how to do race inspection, how run orders work, and how to read results. This event will be focusing on GS only this year.

SCHEDULE:                            

• Participant Check-in: 9-10am in the Hutch. 

• We will also go over how to Register and how run orders work

• Race Crew sets AM courses, bnet, and sets up timing: 9-10

• Drill time (two coached runs of drills): 10-10:30am

• Inspection: 10:30-11 (treeside course)

• Race Crew gets timing set up and run orders printed: 10-10:45

• First run: 11am 

• Training runs: until 12 noon on both courses 

• Lunch: 12-1 

• Race crew sets afternoon courses: 12:30-1pm

• Training runs: until 12 noon (with coaching at the bottom)

• Inspection for run 2: 1:30-2pm

• 2nd run: 2pm

• Race Crew processes race and completes results: 3-3:30

• Video review in the Hutch 3:30-???pm. We will also go over results and how to read them
