Update:West Mountain contacted me to tell me that they could not give us Gnar Wall or the Cure for our training. This is because they are going to schedule their FIS team and Academy on the hill essentially from 10-4. (FIS Team 10-2, Academy from 2-4). They are willing to give us the Face to train on from 10-2, however, is is the very end of the GS hill and not adequate for GS training. Probably a only 15-20 sec course.

I am very sorry that they have cancelled at the last minute like this. The good news is that it's not a snow issue. Lisa and Bill are checking on whether Bousquet is going to have GS training. If so, we'll let everyone know in case you want to alter your plans and go there. Or if somehow West figures out an alternative, I will let everyone know.

We got the go ahead from West Mt to do training on Thursday February 15th. You will pay for the training at the West Mountain desk. Training and ticket will be $70, Training alone will be $50.

The plan is to run either from The Cure down or Gnar Wall down. It's weather dependent. If it's firm, we should have access to the Cure, if it's softer, we'll stick with The Gnar Wall down. Either way, you should get to at least free ski The Cure to train your "Send It" signals.
