New England Masters Ski Racing is excited to launch the 2025–26 season at Stowe Mountain Resort with an action-packed weekend of racing!

The week kicks off with four days of the legendary Comets Camp, which celebrates its 40th season this year. We then roll into the season start gate to officially kick off the 2025-26 race season with two days of racing and a total of four races. Bottom line, it’s going to be a fun week, capped off with two days of racing that you won’t want to miss.

Stowe has long been known for having some of the best early-season conditions in the East—and this year they’re delivering again. With over 60 inches of natural snow already on the ground, Stowe has been at the center of the snowstorm bullseye. So much so that the resort opened early and is offering more terrain than ever for December. This means prime surfaces and ideal training and race conditions to kick off the winter.

Even better? These races take place before the holiday crowds hit, giving athletes a rare chance to get on snow and in gates, while picking up some key starts before most of the country even begins their season. 

The races at Stowe are the perfect way to shake off the rust and test out your gear after a long off-season. They will also help you build momentum heading into January when the race season truly begins.
